ReplyDeleteBluewater Bistro. Everything is "right" at BB: service is spectacular, setting is perfect, prices are reasonable; and the food is ALWAYS spectacular.
ReplyDeleteI have always kind of liked the good old Dog House

ReplyDeleteBluewater Bistro for me! I love their pizza!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your votes you guys! I agree and love all of your favorites.
ReplyDeleteYes Kathyrn and John, we are blessed to have so many wonderful restaurants here...
ReplyDeleteWe are new to the area but our meal at Terrapin was very very good. I must admit, however a fondness for the dog house, especially after chucking a few balls into the water for our dog to retrieve
ReplyDeleteBrisas Del Mar, there is nothing better than fresh fish tacos
ReplyDeleteVery hard, but the Island deli sushi Thursdays is hard to beat. The poki is awesome!
ReplyDeleteTerrapin Creek and Island Style Deli - they are on either end of dining spectrum, but both have fabulous, fresh, yummy food!
ReplyDeleteHi Bob and Sissy! I'll cast one vote each from you two and enter you twice in the drawing.
ReplyDeleteWe come a few times a year and LOVE to eat at the Tides! We have never tried the Blue Water Bistro, but with all the good things Im reding about it we'll definitely have to heck it out next time we are in town!

ReplyDeleteI would have to say lucas wharf. I love the fishermans stew.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your votes, keep them coming!
ReplyDeleteIsland Style Deli has the most amazing fresh cod fish tacos! Just follow the coast guards in the door and you'll know you've found the local favorite!

ReplyDeleteThe Dog House has the best grilled cheese and fries ever!
ReplyDeleteThe tides has great burgers
ReplyDeleteThe Tides snackbar has really great veggie burgers that you can eat out on the dock beside the harbour, just be mindful of seagulls that are usually hungrier than you, and will try their best to snag a fry or two.
ReplyDeletethe hot crab sandwich at the tides looks sooo good.
ReplyDeleteSuch a difficult, difficult choice. My go-to place for fresh, local, inspired food is Terrapin Creek. Always a treat! Of course I fill my days out with my other favorites ... Island Style, Spud Point Crab Company, Rocker's over in Valley Ford, Bayview, the Snack Bar at the Tides, the Casino over in the village of Bodega, Bistro des Copains and Barley & Hops in Occidental, Duck Club, Bluewater Bistro ... I'm starting to see why I always seem to blow my budget for eating out. But all out favorite has to be Terrapin. Thanks for putting this fun contest together, Kathlene!
ReplyDeletePotato Crusted Halibut at the sandpiper
ReplyDeleteI second that, the potato crusted halibut from the Sandpiper is TO DIE FOR!!! Are they still open??
ReplyDeleteThe Tides... I love the view, great memories, love the garlic fries.
ReplyDeleteLucas Wharf Restaurant & Bar. Yummy Clam Chowder and Crab Sandwich and awesome customer service. Lots of good energy and memories in that place

ReplyDeleteWithout a doubt, the best restaurant in Bodega Bay, is actually in Valley Ford. I know, i know..........but the fact is that nothing, nothing can beat the delicious food at Rocker Oysterfellers. Definitely the very best restaurant in Bodega Bay, is Rockers, (in Valley Ford)!
ReplyDeleteAnd check out the homemade fruit pies at the market across the street from Rockers!
I love Rocker Oysterfellers too! We're huge fans and I've written blog posts about them a few times. But for this first contest, we decided to limit it to just Bodega Bay restaurants. Maybe next year we'll include the surrounding towns as well.
ReplyDeleteI "liked" your site on facebook. My favorite is the Sandpiper Resturant. I love the fish and chips there. I haven't been able to try out the new location but I am sure it's fabulous.

ReplyDeleteJust got back from a long weekend at Bodega Bay and had another great meal at Lucas Wharf. The clam chowder is to die for and the portions are so big!
ReplyDeleteBluewater Bistro! They'll be catering my wedding in October! They have great food at great prices and a beautiful dining room!
ReplyDeleteI have to say Lucas Wharf. What I wouldn't do for their Calamari right now.....Yummmmmm!

BWB, eat some burgers
ReplyDeleteLucas wharf
ReplyDeleteThe Tides
ReplyDeleteYay, thanks so much for all these votes! I get hungry every time I read more of your descriptions.
ReplyDeleteI like The Tides, despite the fact that they no longer let me order from the kids menu anymore. When did I get old?
ReplyDeleteBluewater Bistro please!!
ReplyDeleteLucas Wharf has been holding title for my favorite because dropping in for their famous bloody Mary's and an assortment of appetizers is a Bodega Bay ritual for my friends and I. But it's possible that my new favorite is an untried one. Ready for a new place!
ReplyDeleteWell, my hands down vote is Bluewater Bistro!
ReplyDeleteBluewater Bistro. Now I need to drive to Bodega Bay and get a burger there. Seriously, I am drooling on my keyboard just thinking about it.

ReplyDeleteBlue Water Bistro
ReplyDeleteTERRAPIN CREEK IS FAR AND AWAY THE BEST BISTRO IN TOWN, WITH FOOD THAT COMFORTS THE HEART AND EXCITES THE EYE. ANDREW AND LEA KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THEY'RE DOING HERE, AND WE'RE SO VERY LUCKY TO HAVE THEM. GOING THERE IS LIKE GOING HOME ....
ReplyDeleteGosh, reading all the reviews certainly gives one appreciation for all our great local restaurants! We agree with each of the reviewers choices and even spent one Christmas Day at The Tides eating bar food and enjoying cocktails...a memorable Christmas. Our choice, however, has to be Terrapin Creek. We agree with Mag, we're so lucky to have them here!
ReplyDeleteThe Bundys
